In addition to distributing to cannabis retailers through Boxes Distribution, Boxes offers point to point transportation for cannabis cultivators, processors, and manufactures throughout Minnesota
Boxes Transport gives you a whole transport van at an hourly rate and is meant to be the cheapest way to move your harvest to a processor or manufacturer. For transport to a retailer we recommend Boxes Distribution as it will be dramatically cheaper for such a a use case.

Boxes Transport offers flat rate cannabis transportation regardless of how much you need moved, It doesn’t cost us more to carry more cargo, we don’t charge you more. We offer freezer van transport at a temperature of -20 degrees for carrying Whole Plant Fresh Frozen (WPFF) and regular cargo vans with regular ACs that stay at 68 degrees for everything else.
Whole Vehicle Transport Pricing:
- Entire Freezer Cargo Van: $175/hr round trip
- Entire Regular Cargo Van: $150/hr round trip
Please keep in mind that this is pricing for renting our entire van and does not reflect what distribution to retailers under Boxes Distribution would cost, Boxes Distribution is able to operate much more efficiently and at lower cost to the producer because we can delivery many orders from many brands in one delivery route.
How it works:
- Step 1. Fill out the form. Once you complete the form to the right you will be instantly emailed a quote / invoice. The price in the invoice will be calculated from the above listed hourly rates and the Google Maps APIs estimated drive time for the trip from our facility in St Paul, to point A, to point B, and back to our facility.
Once you have paid the invoice please respond to the email stating that you have paid it. - Step 2. Confirmation. Once we have confirmed payment and put the trip in our calendar we will send a confirmation email to you and the receiver with a set time window.
- Step 3. Pickup And Dropoff. We will call you when we’re on our way to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Once the dropoff has been made you’ll receive an automated email letting you know.

- Price is calculated using the Google’s Maps APIs expected drive time.
- You will receive an instant quote and invoice upon completion of the transport request form on this page. Payment must be made before transport occurs.
- Round trip pricing includes our estimated drive time from our facility in St Paul to point A to B and back to our facility.

How is the price calculated?
Our pricing is based on the drive time from our warehouse, point a to point b, and back to our warehouse. At an hourly rate, which may fluctuate over time. Fluctuations are based on the demand and our availability.
How does scheduling my transport work?
Boxes schedules transportation on a first come first serve basis. If you are able to select a date on our website you can be pretty sure we can make the delivery on that day. In the rare event there is an issue we will contact you about rescheduling. Payment must be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled transport time in order to be accepted.

How do payments work?
We require proof of payment 24 hrs in advance of the scheduled transport date, given the slowness of the American banking system, it may take some time before a bank transfer shows on our end. To offer the quickest service possible you may reply to your invoice with proof of a transfer. At which point we will mark the order as paid and send a confirmation email to both parties.
What do I do in metric?
As a box shipper all you need to do is create your Manifest with us as the transporter. Once your invoice has been paid your confirmation email will include all relevant details required to create the manifest.
